A is for AUSA

The only thing better than a European forklift is a four-wheel drive European forklift.

Perfect for New Zealand’s challenging conditions where operators may have to work on wet, slippery, or undulating terrain, the AUSA rough terrain forklift is brilliant for use on construction sites, orchards, market gardens and the like. AUSA also produce a range of compact Telehandlers, and as with the Forklifts, the entire range features high ground clearance, excellent ergonomics and outstanding reliability.

Founded in Spain in 1956, AUSA now exports to over 100 countries and has built an enviable reputation for providing well designed, highly functional equipment. Glenbrook Machinery, are the exclusive New Zealand agents for AUSA, and provide service and support the length of the country. Machines can be financed on the spot and we also have a large hire fleet with very competitive hire rates.

Glenbrook Machinery launches new Rental division

After 40 years of supplying quality machinery from floats to forklifts, Glenbrook Machinery have now launched a hire division, which provides short-term to long-term hireage of equipment such as rollers, diggers, forklifts and loaders.

Not only does this allow casual users of equipment to use some of the best machines on the market for their one-off projects, but it also allows bigger companies to hire machines to ensure better use of capital funds, cover for break-downs, or add extra muscle for increased workload.

As customers would expect with Glenbrook Machinery, the equipment is supplied in pristine condition, tanked-up and ready to rip into action. Rental rates are affordable for machines of this calibre.

To find out more, see our Hire page or give Phillip Pinker a call on 0800 453 627.

Avant 528 gets the thumbs-up from Deals on Wheels

As the team at Glenbrook, we live and breathe Avant and Ausa loaders and forklifts so it’s nice to hear an independent expert praise our machines as Lindsay Whittle from Deals on Wheels did on page 76 of their latest issue. Cutting to the chase, Lindsay says ‘From my own point of view, I felt myself wishing these machines were around twenty years ago. If they had been, I probably could have saved the money I’ve spent over the years for treatment of a bad back — a result of many hours peering over the hood of a front end loader and twisting to operate a grader blade attached to the rear of the machine.’

Of course there is more to the Avant 528 than ergonomics. For more information, click here.

Bring in the sure-footed heavy-lifters

When you want lifting power, you can’t go past our Ausa C250H. Designed and built in Europe, the entire Ausa range operates well on rough and undulating terrain, such as paddocks, orchards, and building sites, due to a wide track, high clearance flotation tyres, and 4WD transmission. The C250H forklift lifts up to 2500 kg via a powerful 36.5 kw Kubota diesel engine. The C250 features an infinitely variable hydrostatic transmission which gives better fuel economy, and stronger downhill engine braking. A multi-function joystick controls all main functions including operating the integrated side-shift.
